5th Class January Blog
In January we learned the how to write a “Procedural text”. We read and looked at a variety of procedural texts. We then played a number of board games before writing instructions for “How to Play...” each game
We started our 8 week swimming block in the Watershed! We have really enjoyed going on the bus and the opportunity to learn how to swim and improve our swimming strokes techniques.
For the month of January we have been painting using watercolours. We learned about the artist Wassily Kadinsky and responded to his work “Concentric Circles” through creating own “Concentric Circles” using water colours.
We also created “Concentric Hearts”.
