What a busy few weeks it has been for 1st Class!
We have put a huge effort into improving our wellbeing and developing a ‘growth mindset’, based on the book ‘The Magical Yet’.
We then created our own ‘Magical Yets’ to help us to remember to be positive when things get difficult.

Since the start of the year, we have been improving our hurling, camogie and Gaelic football skills through brilliant coaching by Dermot Ryall.
We definitely have future GAA stars in 1st Class!!
In Art, we have created a beautiful Autumn whole-class display which can be seen as you enter the school through the main door.
It will be there to greet you for the rest of October!

The ‘Great Pink Run’ made its annual comeback to the school on Friday 4th October, and as always we turned up in plenty of pink!
We had a brilliant day and it was a fantastic sight to see everyone dressed in lovely pink, red and all sorts of bright colours for the day.
Thanks very much to Úna for helping and encouraging us for our run, and for the lovely sweets!
