4th Class Blog – October
October was an extremely busy month in 4th Class! We started off the month by taking part in the whole-school Pink Run, which is always a fantastic day full of colour and excitement.
In the lead up to Hallowe’en and the midterm, we created funny pumpkin faces and created images that reminded the children of autumn. They turned out absolutely brilliant, everybody is so artistic!
We performed our poem ‘An t-Iora Rua’ in front of the whole school for our assembly, and we shared what we have learned so far since the start of the year. Everybody put in a huge effort in learning the poem and preparing to perform, so well done to them!
Finally, on the last Friday before midterm, we all dressed up in a variety of spooky/funny costumes for Hallowe’en to join in the whole school tradition. It was a brilliant day and plenty of sweets and treats were had!
