4th Class Blog: April – June
In 4th Class, we have been creating wonderful Gaeilge displays, showcasing all of the new phrases and vocabulary that we have been learning and practicing, ‘My House’ (‘Mo Theach’) and Menus (‘Biachláir) being some examples.

We put in a huge effort researching and presenting our projects on various towns and cities all over Ireland. These show the beautiful landmarks and historical sites that our country has to offer.

It was also ‘School Tour’ season in Church Hill, with 3rd and 4th class making the journey to Kildare to Redhills Adventure Centre. We had a fantastic, action-packed day, with activities such as go-karting, soccer, giant board games and group tasks, archery-dodgeball and splat-ball. We all had a super day, and even Mr. Brennan and Ms. Hughes got the chance to show off their skills and competitive sides!

We got the chance to produce some lovely pieces of summer art during the months of May and June, with creations ranging from beach settings, flip-flops and parasols. They all looked absolutely amazing!

We had an extremely enjoyable Active Schools Week, which was filled with lots of activities to get us up out of our seats and moving! We took part in line-dancing in Monday and were put through our paces in circuits, tag rugby and soccer on Tuesday. Wednesday tested our flexibility in gymnastics, while Friday brought Sports Day. We had a brilliant time with Rounders, Tag Rugby, Dodgeball and Novelty Races.

Finally, everyone in 4th Class would like to wish you all a wonderful and enjoyable summer holidays!
