Coding and Beebots
2nd and 3rd class have been really busy learning how to code using Beebots. The Beebots are instructed where to move by the children inputting a specific code in the correct sequence. We had so much fun using them in class.
All About Our Nearest Neighbours!
In January we learned all about Ireland nearest neighbour – the United Kingdom. We used our Chromebook to research the 4 countries that make up the United Kingdom and presented our finding to the class.
Student Council Healthy Eating Presentation
Our Student Council representatives made a presentation for the students in 2nd and 3rd class. They children learned all about the food pyramid and making healthy choices when it comes to food.
Safer Internet Day
On Tuesday 11th February we celebrated Safer Internet Day. The children learned all about the positives and negatives of the internet. The children discussed how they can be safe online and to never share any private information with strangers online.
